Vision and Mission

At Central Elementary School we strive daily to cultivate a community of responsible learners who feel empowered to direct their own learning, inspired to be curious, engaged with their community, and moved to show empathy and respect for others.  We are committed to creating collaborative and innovative learning experiences, through which students develop critical thinking skills, achieve or surpass the Common Core Standards, and develop lifelong learning habits and positive mindsets.

Our vision is to create a highly-regarded elementary school where students, staff, and parents come together to inspire our students to reach their full potential academically, physically, emotionally, socially, and morally. We believe all students are capable of being leaders who take responsibility for their learning and their actions to improve their classroom, family, and/or community. We also believe that all students are creative and intelligent in their own ways.

Sibling Registration

Do you have an incoming Kindergartener?  If you do, sibling registration starts on Tuesday, January 16th.  Please bring all required documents (click that link if you are not sure about the required documents) to the Central front office between the hours of 9am-12:30pm and 2pm-3:30 pm starting Tuesday, January 16th through Friday, February 16th.  If you do not register your child here by February 16th you will need to register them at the district office and your child will not be guaranteed placement at Central.

Regarding Transitional Kindergarten (TK):  Central does not offer TK at this time but I can take the paperwork for the sibling who is entering TK.
