About the Belmont Central Elementary PTA
The Central Elementary School PTA (Parent Teacher Association), was chartered in 1922. Since that time, the PTA has played an essential role in ensuring that all of our students have access to an excellent education.
With a focus on academic achievement, parent involvement, and parent education, the PTA works to create an inclusive community where every member is appreciated and valued. In addition to the thousands of volunteer hours provided every year by the PTA, the PTA provides financial support for classroom materials, field trips, assemblies, etc. Please refer to the ABCs of Central page to see some of the programs with which the PTA is involved.
The Central Elementary School PTA is a non-profit organization funded entirely by the community it serves. Visit our Fund Raising page for details on PTA fund raising programs and events.
Please consider joining the Central PTA. All PTA activities benefit Central Elementary School's children directly and require volunteers to ensure their continued success. As a member, you have the right to attend the Association meetings where your vote counts. If you are interested in volunteering for a specific program, please contact that program's committee chair.
Through the PTA, you can help make a difference in your child's educational experience.
A Note from the Parliamentarian
You are invited to attend any meeting of the PTA. I especially urge you to attend the Association meetings where your vote, as a PTA member, counts. If you wish to have something discussed at a PTA meeting please note that our Standing Rules require "At least twenty-four hours notice, in writing, must be given to the president in order to have an item of business or an announcement placed on the executive board or association agenda."
A Letter from the PTA Presidents

Central is also supported by a hard working school district office and a dynamic school foundation. These groups together form a rich partnership whose sole mission is to advance our children’s educational experience. We hope you will find a place in this partnership to contribute your own talents.
We invite you to get involved at Central! Look for sign-up sheets at the beginning of the school year for all of the
Looking forward to a great year!
