Getting Involved - it's easy to do!
Every year, families contribute 20,000 volunteer hours to Central Elementary to help enrich the lives of our students. Volunteer opportunities exist in a variety of areas -- in the classrooms, library, computer lab, and as organizers and leaders of programs & special events for the students.
Why should you volunteer?
- Volunteering is a great way to share your child's world by interacting with teachers, staff and students.
- Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents.
- Volunteering is fun! Relive your fond childhood memories through the world of arts, crafts, music and science.
If you are interested in volunteering for a specific program, please contact that program's committee chair. For more information, please talk with your child's teacher and/or contact the PTA to volunteer -- there are opportunities for virtually every schedule and skill set!
