The Central Elementary School PTA is a non-profit organization funded entirely by the community it serves. The PTA funds critical school programs and resources that benefit every Central student, and works to ensure that all of our students have access to an excellent education.
How can you help the Central PTA benefit your children?
Dolphin Dollars / Write-a-Check
Dolphin Dollars / Write-a-Check is the first PTA fundraiser of the year for Central families.
State funding alone does not provide sufficient resources to deliver the quality of education Central has historically provided. By simply making a financial donation of any value to Central PTA, you can help fund all of the programs that enrich our children's education. The contribution requested to continue providing the programs funded by the Central PTA is $225 per student, however, contributions at any level make a difference. With that in mind, we are hopeful that every Central parent will participate in funding our PTA in the coming year.
Donations to the PTA are a tax-deductible means of enhancing your child's education. You can make a one-time donation, semi-annual, or monthly payments. Click here to download a donation form to include with your donation.
Central Auction (our biggest fundraising event!)
Held in late November, this is Central's evening to celebrate our school community, staff and Central families – all while raising money for our Central! Dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions make this adult-only event a favorite year after year. Auction items, such as school parking spaces, fabulous dinners, a wine wall, special class creations, and "Principal for a Day" are always a big hit.
As one of the PTA's most important events, many volunteers are needed to make it successful. If you would like to volunteer to help with this fun event, please contact our Program Chairperson.
Gift Wrap
Another of Central's significant fundraisers, the gift wrap promotion has been hugely successful. In September, the students are encouraged to sell a variety of gift and novelty items through the colorful and inviting Innisbrook catalogue. It's a great way for the children to participate in fundraising efforts, and Central receives 50% of the profits!
A small army of people is needed to tally orders, organize and distribute inventory. If you're interested in volunteering for our Gift Wrap fundraiser, please contact our Program Chairperson.
