Announcements: A Message from the Principal Dear Central Families: STAR testing begins this week. Thank you PTA for the Snacks for Stars program, providing snacks for our children! Remember to have your child here well rested, and on time each morning. In addition, please refrain from taking your child out of school during the morning hours for appointments. If your child is absent, they will be required to make up parts of the exam that are missed, on a separate day.5th Grade Parents: Has your email changed since the beginning of the school year? If so, send your new email information to our school office. Ralston Middle School is sending out communications to all incoming 6th grade families, therefore a current email address is very important. I want to thank all my teachers and staff for what they do each and every day for the students at Central. You are very much appreciated for going the extra mile! Take care and have a wonderful week! Donna Sims Next Week is School-Force Week! Our teachers and staff greatly appreciate the efforts that School-Force makes every year to help fund the gaps between our education funding and expenses. We know that the Foundation is really all of you - and we can't thank you enough for supporting School-Force. We'll have lots of communications throughout the week, including a new video, information from the School-Force parent survey, and a history and projection of funding in our District to explain what School-Force is about and provide more information on where the funds are spent. Fun Run /Carnival Managers
Dear Central Runners and Walkers,
Here is a great opportunity to be part of Central's biggest social event and the only PTA fundraiser for the year. We are looking for:
- A coordinator for the Back-to-School Breakfast
- A chairperson for the carnival
- Dads who like to play and build things to come up with a booth idea..... like last year's Angry Birds!
- Someone to coordinate musical entertainment for the event...the more the merrier!
If you loved the Dolphin Dash and would like to have a role (large or small) in next year's Fun Run, please come forth!
